Meet Your Groomer

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Angela Dietz and here is a brief synopsis of how and why I became a groomer.

I have a BA in fine arts and have always had an eye for design and details. In 2011 I was presented with the opportunity to work for a woman who had a mobile grooming business and was hooked.  I have always been an animal lover so it came as no surprise to the people in my life that I had found a career that allowed me to combine both my love of animals and art into one.

I was very fortunate to have started my training in Southern California under the tutelage of Diane Harris. With 30 years in the business, she is a very well respected and an extremely knowledgeable groomer. The very high volume of dogs that she had at her shops gave me great opportunity and exposure to work on various breeds– large and small. I became well versed in the needs of the each coat type and how to make them look their best.

I started my grooming business in Bloomington, Indiana at the end of 2015 after having my child. Since starting my business here, I’ve completed 2/3rds of my certification with the National Dog Groomers Association and have started taking advanced Canine Esthetician courses and participating in competitive grooming competitions.

I currently offer Madra Mor mud baths, Animal Ayurveda treatments, and Thera-Clean as more natural options to help treat and sooth itchy and irritated skin.  In addition to these top of the line products and therapies, the main shampoo and conditioner line I use at the shop is Mauro.  It’s plant based and made with high end essential oils. It’s free of sulfates, dyes, parabens and has no artificial fragrances. In addition, I offer most of the products I use in the shop for retail for any of your home bathing needs.

The last few year have been the most gratifying in my career. The relationships I have built with my clients and their pets have truly changed my life. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your dogs or cats!!!
